Memory Bank is a product of me wanting it all……not too much to ask right?
I started looking for an app that could timeline my kids’ pics online, but as a mum of three, I don’t have an awful lot of time to dedicate to photo organisation! All I could find were lots that seemed time intensive and none of them did everything I wanted. Some remembered milestones of them as a baby – but I wanted milestones for life. Some organised your photos and shared them with family – but missed out on the amazing artwork they bring home (but you don’t want to keep forever). And some even let you WRITE your memories (yes very old-school I know) – but with little creativity. I wanted all of that, but not on multiple platforms, I wanted it all in one. Oh, and requiring minimum effort…….too much to ask? With nothing with this capability on the market, there was only one solution – me and my husband had to create it ourselves!
So that is where Memory Bank was born! A platform that lets you bank all your memories in all the ways you want, in one safe space. Allowing you to put in almost zero effort if you just don’t have the time not give it or are too busy living and breathing all the memories to want to spend your time on it!
I wanted to help time poor parents log the memories they are working so hard to create, so when they are all done and dusted (and people tell me this all comes around to quickly) that we have a way, and a comprehensive way, to look back and re-live them. We didn’t want to miss a thing and all the ways we have to interact with the platform allow the user to get a well-rounded log of those memories, not just images to scroll through. It also leaves a lasting story of your child’s history for them to reminisce.
Memory bank is a subscription-based service, and has 3 tiers depending on what the customers want from it:

Our target audience is time-poor, they have busy lives and schedules that don’t seem to give up (trust me I know). Our phone syncing functionality and facial recognition allows the photos they take on their phones to be synced and uploaded with no effort from them. It means the pics are placed on the correct child’s timelines and date/time stamped for locating them later and for viewing the timeline in sequence. This platform, both an app and an online site, allows them to base their timelines of this syncing alone, or venture into all the other options we have, to create beautiful and full timelines of their children’s journeys.
We allow you to add other users to your families’ timelines. This allows grandparents, uncles, and aunties or even a distant cousin to be invited along for the ride. You can also decide how active they are. Do you simply want them to view, add the odd comment or post their own memories of your children directly onto the timelines? With our controls, you can decide when you add the family, and update access as you go (just in case someone gets a little crazy with the pics)! This also means you can share pics with family without having to post online, a great solution for those who are security and privacy conscious.
